Over the past several years the Arcade Legends gaming system has grown in popularity as a arcade game system that provides classic arcade games on their original format and in one system. The Arcade Legends has also grown in the number of titles that come loaded on the game from an original 25 to a whopping 125 arcade games. There are a lot of great games on the system but if your looking for the classic Ms.Pacman, Pacman or Galaga games you will be disappointed. They are not on theses units.

Arcade Legends does have Centipede, Defender, Asteroids, Robotron, Joust and Space Invaders to name a few but overall the majority of the games are second tier titles. One aspect of the Arcade legends that is also somewhat disappointing is that certain games required a special control panel layout where the buttons and joystick needs to be in the right spot to play the game effectively. Asteroids, Defender and Missile Command are a few that while on the Arcade Legends system are difficult to play. If you never played them before you might not realize it but to a 80's game veteran you notice.

The Arcade Legends 2 cabinet is well designed and brightly colored and comes with quality commercial style game controllers including button, joysticks and trackball. It also has a nice large 25" color CRT that displays all the game clearly. Ninety five percent of all the games where originally played on a 19" color screen. Not a big deal but when you played as many quarters as i did in these games it something you notice for better or worse.

Arcade Legends comes with a nice 6 month warranty and the factory has a great service department that can answer any questions you might have.
